Ghost Timber's Kiss From A Rose FDC BCAT FITB, CHIC

Rolo is the 5th generation of our Flower line. He is a minimally marked black phantom out of Peter (Ghost Timber's I Can Only Imagine FDC DCAT ATT FITB, CHIC) and Lucy (Ghost Timber's Blue Moon Rose FDC, CHIC). Both of Rolo's parents are CHIC certified for health. Peter is OFA graded as Excellent on his hips, the highest score a poodle can receive. Rolo was also graded as OFA Excellent as did his sister Petunia. That's 5 generations in a row of OFA Excellent hips. Rolo is named after his grandmother Rose, our current matriarch at 13+ years old. Both Peter and Rose have been awarded AKC's ATT (Temperament Test) title after being graded by two different Judges against the poodle breed standard. This is concrete proof that our dogs have outstanding temperaments.

At 60+ lbs during his last vet checkup, he's the spitting image of his daddy Peter!

Rolo as a baby. Here you can see his phantom markings. Like many minimally marked phantoms, he was fully marked as a baby but has lost them as he has grown up. This is one of many reasons why the tan-point pattern is called 'phantom' in the poodle breed. It's unknown why some phantoms retain their markings and some do not.

Now that Rolo's health testing is complete, he has started his sports competition career! He took and easily passed AKC's Farm Dog Certified test twice under two different judges in Fairfield, Pennsylvania on May 10, 2025! His official FDC title award is pending AKC processing of the test results.

Rolo has also started competing in Fast CAT Lure Coursing! He has his first qualifying runs with the Blue Ridge Dog Training Club at White Post, Virginia in June 2025!

*Pending AKC confirmation of award, Rolo earned his BCAT title at the Upper Potomac Valley Kennel Club Fast CAT trials at Ridgeley, West Virginia.
